Goedvertrouw Wine Estate is a delightful little organic gem situated approximately 9km from the town of Botriver on the Vanderstelpass. The farm is run by Elreda Pillmann who provides bed and breakfast accommodation in lovely rooms inside the beautifully restored Cape Dutch House. The farm is a photographer’s paradise with a wide variety of scenery from the banks of the Botriver to stretches of fynbos and protea species on the mountain slopes and the splendour of the English country garden in front of the main building. Although one is welcome to stop for a drink it is advisable make prior arrangements for meals.
