A friend once asked me if I get bored on the farm after growing up in the City – my morning has been spent hunting piglets that my sow has decided she does not want. She is literally walking in the fields, stopping, giving birth and then carrying on eating and rooting.
We have had to clean the little ones, tie off umbilical cords and now feed every 2 hours. Three have survived, I now know what it feels like to have triplets.
